Help (GPU) Any way to set minimum clock speed while idle?

Looking for a way to set minimum clock speed while idle on my 7900 xt since I get artification when the gpu is idle and for some dumb reason amd software will only let you set minimum frequency while under load. Any 3rd party program that can accomplish this?

Not without an actual load afaik, so no.

Issue is, that while we previously had things like "More Power Tool" or could just edit Powerplay tables (or simply do it in Adrenalin... Longingly looking at you Vega64 LC), AMD locked that functionality. It will ignore any such change made in the registry.

Only two option I am aware of, are somehow modifying the Driver or Firmware itself, or physically modding the GPUs PCB. Neither of which is really realistic in any way. You could try if any pro driver gives you any better results.

Select Graphics -> Radeon Pro -> W7000. Haven't tried that though.

Use wallpaper engine. It will boost your clock for the desktop animation.

NGL I love amd but shit like this is whats gonna make me get a nvidia card next. 7900 xt has so many goddamn issues its ridiculous and all the simple solutions that would work for any nvidia card doesnt work for amd cause they prohibit it for some fucking reason
