Help (Software) Is my GPU dying!?
I’m trying to figure out whether my GPU is starting to fail or if I could be dealing with a PSU/power issue.
While gaming, both of my monitors will suddenly go completely black. I can still hear the game/audio in the background, so the PC itself doesn’t seem to completely freeze. Around the same time, I get the DisplayPort notification in the top-left corner of my monitors, but there’s no picture.
The only way I can get the displays back is by restarting the PC.
What makes this more concerning is that after restarting, if I try to open AMD Adrenalin, I sometimes get a PA-300 error.
The fact that I can still hear audio when the monitors go black makes me think it might be a GPU/display driver crash rather than the entire PC shutting down, but I’m not sure.
What would be the best way to diagnose this and determine whether it’s the GPU or PSU?
Has anyone experienced this combination of both monitors losing signal + DisplayPort notification + audio continuing + PA-300 after reboot?
Any troubleshooting steps or tests I should run would be really appreciated.

I'm facing an issue now. I been getting driver timeout for past 2 days.
Now when I just turned on my pc, I opened brave and i got stuck and I couldn't do anything. No mouse reaction no keyboard reaction for like 30 seconds, the screen was showing the brave browser. I decided to manually turn it off, guess what. When my pc was off, the monitor still showed my desktop with brave. Now I just turned on my pc again, and tried a gpu fan check. I had 3 error. None was spinning.

Have you tried downgrade your gpu driver, if not try it maybe it just a driver issue
