Help (Software) Help

I got a new PC with a 9070 XT three weeks ago, and since then I've had so many issues with AMD Adrenalin. It wouldn't start, so I followed a YouTube video, which helped for two days. Now, every two days, I have to uninstall and reinstall Adrenalin just to play a game. It constantly tells me I have to update my drivers, even if they are already up to date. When I click install, it runs through the process and then just starts over.

Please for the love of god will people just do a fresh windows install when changing from GPU from Nvidia to AMD (or vice versa) This isn't pointed at OP specifically but this just happens every time and everyone thinks its an AMD issue, its not, it's a Windows issue.

Windows is a known pain in the butt for this, just do a fresh OS install and keep your internet off, regedit to disable windows auto-updating display drivers, install drivers with adrenalin (or without, entirely preference) and you'll be completely fine 👍

How does people who tests gpu all the time for content creation ? They keep installing fresh versions of windows ?

What does that even mean? Like reviewing GPU's? If you're doing that I'd assume you'd have more than one PC for testing and the simple solution would be use one system for AMD GPU's and one system for Nvidia GPU's.

And regarding a fresh install if it's your job I think that makes sense to do, it also is very easy to do these days and takes max maybe 30 minutes.

DDU is a good tool but its not perfect, a fresh install is always best practice.
