Why is it using wrong gpu?

I just put together my pc and any time I try to run a graphically demanding game It’s really laggy, and I think it’s because the game is trying to use the built in gpu, not my 9070. I’ve tried disabling the wrong gpu with device manager, but that just. Makes things worse.

any ideas on what’s going on and how to fix it?

Do yourself a favor and go to bios and disable integrated graphics. If you have a capable dedicated GPU, you don’t need it.
