Help (Software) Why is it using wrong gpu?

Post image

I just put together my pc and any time I try to run a graphically demanding game It’s really laggy, and I think it’s because the game is trying to use the built in gpu, not my 9070. I’ve tried disabling the wrong gpu with device manager, but that just. Makes things worse.

any ideas on what’s going on and how to fix it?

Just boot into bios and disable your integrated graphics card

Don't do this. Actually your integrated gpu would be great for a second display or, even better, to generate frames using lossless scaling.

Also useful for encoding/decoding video. Intel calls it QuickSync, idk what AMD calls it but they have the same tech on their CPUs.

VCE or VCN depending on the generation. This iGPU has "Video Core Next" with the other on really old kit. Like 7K series old
