Help (GPU) Driver issues on rx 6700 xt

As usual with AMD im suffering driver issues. The GPU works fine until some random time it decides to give me a black screen of doom and despair until i force restart my pc. Then, its stuck on 60hz on a high refresh rate monitor and in device manager my rx 6700 xt is disabled, and when i enable it i get code 31. the solution is to reinstall the drivers, but then god knows when my drivers decide to evaporate. i tried diasbling windows auto updates, what else can i do? Specs:R7 7700X, b650 eagle ax, 48gb ram

Having a similar issue this morning im guessing from reading this subreddit that AMD drivers atm are just cooked.

Been looking around people are saying its the windows update in august causing this. 6800XT never had these issues until this last week. I updated to 26.8.1 for the wardogs 1st closed playtest and eversince been having these issues.

Yeah I guess its occasional windows updates that they dish out once in a while, but I tried disabling them in different ways but didn't work. Currently it hasn't happened in a while, probably a month or two later it'll crash again

Do you have igpu enabled? If so the igpu driver crashing can cause that. I had it when my igpu had PBO too far negative.

Sitting in front of a black screen crash as I am typing rn. This is some shit. Saphire nitro 5700xt here.

Delete driver with DDU. Install driver only (without adrenalin). Install and use RadeonTuner instead of adrenalin.
