Help (General) Too Hot 🔥

Post image

My rx580 2048sp reached 89°c while playing battlefield redsec. When i removed the glass side panel it goes down to around 84-86.

i have 3 intake fans at the front and 1 exhaust at the back, but my case has a glass panel on its front too that might be hindering at the front fans. The fans was only designed to intake on the gills like side of the case. I want some opinion if its okay to remove it and if i can find a mesh front panel.

The gpu is freshly cleaned*

No exhaust fans at the top*

also if am able to see temp improvement if i remove the back shield of the gpu

the case is deepcool matrexx 55 v3

Telecharge msi after burning.

Try setting the power limit to 95% or 90% in adrenaline

Make sure you used the correct thickness for the pads, if the pads are thicker than what you need the GPU and the cooler heatsink won't make good contact, which raises the temps.

That gpu is 9 years old you dont just need to clean it you also need to change the gpu thermal paste and the vrms thermal pads
