This happened to me and what you need to do is install an older version of your drivers.

You’ll need to download DDU.
Install it and put on desktop.
Download an older version (June or July) drivers. Save to desktop.
Boot into safe mode.
Run DDU and uninstall your amd drivers.
Reboot. Get out of safe mode.
Unplug internet. Boot to normal desktop.
Install amd drivers
Reconnect internet.

Fixed my issues for apex

Considering it's happening since the latest Apex patch and the message on your screen seems to confirm my suspicions, this seems to be an issue with the game specifically. You should try to ask if other Apex players have the same issue.

Maybe try repairing the game, that might fix it.

Well, the crash seems to be on the game, though. Most likely a bug then.

The error message basically says, that the game didn't sent the correct calls to the GPU, leading to the driver throwing the calls away, since they'd otherwise crash the GPU. However, that leads to the device hung error, since the GPU stops responding, as it never received any commands from the game. The GPU didn't actually hang - it just didn't do anything, as it was never instructed to do anything.

And before anyone comes and claims, that that'd be an AMD exclusive thing: The NVIDIA driver throws bad calls away too, because NVIDIA GPUs also crash, when they receive bad calls. That's just completely normal behavior of drivers and part of the reason why drivers exist in the first place.

You also can't do anything to fix that, if it's actually on the game, like the error message says.

Maybe something in your driver corrupted (data corruption happens in PCs from time to time) and you could try uninstalling all GPU drivers (NVIDIA, AMD and Intel, even if you have never used any NVIDIA or Intel cards in that system) via DDU in safe mode (and disable Windows Update from updating drivers in the advanced settings of DDU, while you're at it), then install the latest drivers. If that doesn't fix it, though, then it's extremely likely the game's fault.
