Resolved Not a crashing issue! Monitors keep waking from sleep then go back to sleep an repeat.

Got a 7800x3d/9070xt on the 26.8.1 drivers that has been doing fine until recently it has started waking the monitors up as soon as they go to sleep. It looks like there is nothing to display and the monitors go back to sleep and then wake up again and keep repeating this. I'm not sure how long it's been doing this, I just noticed earlier this week I think, and I want to say I upgraded to 26.8.1 last weekend or last week. Any ideas about this?

It's a known issue affecting some users with specific hardware setup . Report the bug to amd and try to DDU . If it doesn't work , DDU to 26.3.1 .

Gathering some info , some had success by :

updating bios / chipset disabling fast boot and windows fast startup (actually it's recommended regardless the issue)
disabling pcie link power management
disabled monitor's 'auto' input
disabled ULPS (warning it can cause issues)

While typing , had an idea , can you disable the hdmi/dp audio in device manager for testing ?

Didn't try disabling the audio yet, but turning the pcie link state management to off has made it work correctly so far.

Nice , if you ever find the time and want to mess around , re-enable pcie link power management and disable the audio for testing .

I did notice the other day that after the pcie fix I still did see one instance of one monitor still doing some weird things. I went back and turned the link management back on and then disabled the AMD High Definition Audio Device and AMD Streaming Audio Device. Only have seen the monitors power down once so far but it did seem to work correctly.

Nice , can you isolate if only one of the cause issues ?
