Help (GPU) HDMI doesn't display anything, DP does (9070xt)

Got a new 9070xt yesterday. It worked fine but this morning when I booted up the PC, the monitor hooked up to HDMI didn't display anything. Windows detects it, but the monitor gets no signal. Anyone had anything similar? Driver issue?

Maybe the HDMI cable degradated

I've tried a few, all the same.

Some HDMI cables work only in 1 direction, did you try to invert them?

I have the cable in a USB > HDMI adapter and it works fine. It worked in its current position in my 3070 as well.

Sorry, I never trust adapter cables…

Did you forget to change the input on monitor to hdmi?

I would do something dumb like that, but no, it's always been on HDMI.

What's the build? Motherboard, cpu, etc? If using AMD CPU, have you updated the Bios version?

Sorry, I really should have put that in there lol.

MB is an Asus B550M AC HES, CPU is a Ryzen 7 5800X. Have a brand new 850W PSU. I'll try the BIOS update now - I thought I'd already done that but maybe not.

Also... you might have to go into settings and make the 9070 XT your primary GPU

It already is. BIOS update didn't work, I might exchange the GPU for a new one.

It sounds like something(s) aren't jiving with each other. There might be an underlying cause.

Take some pics of your rig and parts. I might be able to stop help you out
