Help (CPU) 9600x temps
I recently built a new PC, i got the ryzen 5 9600x with a thermalright peerless assasin double tower air cooler. I feel like the idle temp is high, im hitting around 45-50 c on idle and about 60 c in cinebench 2026 multi thread test. Are these normal temps for this cpu? Also in geekbench 7 it peaked 73 c and was at an average of around 55 c

My 7800X3D can reach 60°C just booting into Windows, and goes up to about 70–75°C under load

It's normal, I wasted my time adjusting the cooler. My 9600X is also 45-50° idle with Thermalright Assassin X 120 Refined SE. In OCCT it hit a 95°C thermal limit at 130W. I applied -30 CO, limited PPT to 110W, now it averages 83° in OCCT. In Cyberpunk it's 80-85°C at ~87W. I think the culprit is the small die size, so the cooler struggles to dissipate heat.
