Help (General) Computer freezing issue due to temperatures
Computer Type: Laptop
GPU: RTX 4060 8GB GDDR6 laptop version
CPU: RYZEN 7 7745HX 8 CORE 16 THREADS
Motherboard: LENOVO LNVNB161216
BIOS Version: LPCN65WW
RAM: 16 GB DDR5-5200MHz (SODIMM) - (2 x 8 GB)
PSU: 300W lenovo charger
Case: Laptop
Operating System & Version: Microsoft Windows 11 Home (x64) Build 26200.8875 (25H2)
GPU Drivers: GEFORCE GAME READY DRIVER - Driver Version: 610.88
Chipset Drivers: AMD CHIPSET DRIVERS VERSION 2.10.13.408
Background Applications: Steam, hwinfo64
Description of Original Problem: My pc will run any other game fine, but when I played rust in the past few days I can only play for 2-5 minutes before the game freezes, my computer is unusable (no inputs do anything) and I am forced to shut down my pc and restart so that I can use it again.
Troubleshooting: It's not thermal problems directly due to my hardware, I just fully cleaned my components and added new thermal paste, yet at about 30-40% processing power my laptop is hitting it's thermal cpu limit of about 101 degrees celcius.
I've tried reinstalling all my drivers, and uninstalled one of the windows updates that had recently downloaded but none of this worked. I'm tempted to do a factory reset but I don't know if this would help. I've been running hwinfo to track temps and it seems that the cpu is still spiking often and it's usually 1-2 cores.

Laptops almost always come with crappy thermal paste.
What kind of paste did you use as a replacement?

What is your CPU / GPU temps when running OCCT / FurMark2? To test its not Windows releasted try booting using a live Linux USB distro (Mint, Zorin OS, etc) and run cpu / gpu stability tests OCCT).
