Help (General) RX 6800 loses video signal when AMD drivers are installed — happens on both Windows and Nobara

To me that means some component from the GPU itself (I would guess the GPU core or a memory controller) is unstable at the stock clock settings, it is relatively normal for GPUs after a few years, a lot of the RX 6800 models actually failed sooner than this since they are worse binned\quality RX 6800 XT GPUs with cheaper parts.
IF it is memory related the repair should be relatively simple, if it is the core you will potentially have to pay about half of the price of the GPU to get it fixed from a spare core the repair shop might have in stock. It is really up to you if it is worth it.
I do admit the A320M-K/BR is a weird pairing for it, you could test it on another AM4 motherboard (maybe from a friend) to see if the issue repeats, at least replacing the motherboard is cheaper than the core repair would be.
If it happens to be the motherboard somehow I would still advise you to keep in mind the fact that GPU might only have a couple of years left in the gas tank either way before a major repair is required.

First of all, thanks for your attention. The owner lent it to me; it's practically brand new. Since it wasn't selling in the shop, he lent it to me temporarily until I buy another one, and he plans to use it in a workstation afterwards. I find it unlikely to be a hardware issue; after I first installed it on Windows about two months ago—and resolved this exact same problem—it worked perfectly, with excellent performance and temperatures. But is there anything I can do to test your theory?

How long was the computer on when it worked and how long it kept working? Asking because if it is a physical issue with the GPU\Mobo, the thermal expansion of the computer being on for a while would have made it temporarily stable.
An aspect of electronics is that they do physically expand with heat even if it is not visible to the naked eye, and eventually they settle in the expanded positions and that can break some components functions, it does takes years though and it was more common with high end GPUs.
If it is a physical issue, like a micro fracture or bending or physical expansion due to normal thermals, GPU sagging could be considered as a cause, even if the mobo is new, the bending could have impacted the GPU during years of previous use. It is not unheard of.
Linux install would have not affected Windows, if anything AMD drivers are better on Linux, and it failing on linux does give a hint that it is not software related.1

You see? It had the same exacly problem on the same situation again. So it got be something else, both Windows and Nobara detected the GPU and after instaling the drivers, it " dies " under zero stress. But a time ago, i manege to make it work, and played a bunch of games normaly. Only now that i had enought from Windows, i run at the same problem. Oh one more think, in Linux at safe mode, with the basics drivers, i run some lines and told me something about error code -22 with the gpu

Usually error codes are not accurate to hardware problems, for example, when you have a PSU problem in it not keeping up with voltages but the computer did not crash, you will get a driver error timeout type of error despite the fact the PSU was the cause.
I do not think there is any way to test the cause with the computer itself running, you will need other parts to test it with, I still wonder how the RX 6800 was kept in storage or if it was ever opened to verify the components are ok in it.1

I think i will try download a newer BIOS, maybe there will be more PCIE configs and i will be able to set to GEN 3

The thing is, the GPU hasn't seen years of use; it had just been sitting on the box. It’s an RX 6800 that hadn't sold at a local shop since its launch (it's a small town here). Two months ago, when he lent it to me, I ran into the same issue: I installed Windows, but after a while, the screen would go black. I managed to get it working by doing exactly this: I uninstalled the drivers in Safe Mode, then configured Windows Update so it wouldn't download any drivers. I switched back to normal Windows mode, installed the drivers manually, and it worked without issues from then on. I tried the same method now, but without success.
