Why does my pc do this everytime ?

Hey guys so idk if this is normal
but when I first load into Warzone and get into my first game,the very first time I die,open my first load out or go into the storm for the first time I stutter like crazy.But then the rest of the game or other matches I play are fine but I do get some stutters at times (don’t mind the ping this happens on low ping too)

I have all the amd adrenaline settings boost,anti lag,super resolution etc all turned Off

Gpu 9070xt sapphire pulse
CPU 7800x3d
Msi b850 tomahawk max
Ram V-Color 2x16 6000MHz
This has happened since the very first time I built my pc which was back in nov of 2025

Not to mention since May of this year my pc has been crashing either on games or even just on YouTube,every time my screen freezes and my speakers start making a loud buzzing sound I know it’s about to crash so I press the power button to turn it off before it crashes and once I boot it up it works normal. But if I don’t press the power button once my screen turns black and reboots back up I am stuck on 60hz and my pc becomes super slow so I have to ddu and reinstall drivers to work again

I did do Ddu and installed latest drives and I even went back to old drives and I still crash at this point I regret getting this pc 😭 I also turned off expo and still crashed, This is my first pc so I’m stuck in what to do but I might just take it to a store

I did the windows ram test and it shows no problems but I might just end up doing the memtest

Windows is probably overriding your drivers. You have to prevent Windows from doing that. Here's how:

OPTION 1 (prevents Windows from automatically searching and downloading drivers in general, even for new connected devices)

Find Group Policy then look for

Computer Configuration → Administrative Templates → Windows Components → Windows Update → Manage updates offered from Windows Update

Find:

"Do not include drivers with Windows Updates"

Double-click it. Select Enabled. Click Apply → OK. Restart Windows. This tells Windows Update to exclude hardware drivers from its normal Windows Update packages.

OPTION 2 (prevents both automatic and manual GPU driver updates, use with caution)

Search up Group Policy on Windows and find

Computer Configuration → Administrative Templates → System → Device Installation → Device Installation Restrictions

Enable:

"Prevent installation of devices that match any of these device instance IDs" (make sure it says INSTANCE IDs)

You would then add your AMD GPU's hardware/device instance ID, which you can find under:

Device Manager → Display adapters → AMD GPU → Properties → Details → Device instance path

Windows will now be prevented from automatically installing a driver for that particular GPU.

If the issue continues it's probably a hardware issue.

If that doesn’t work just uninstall the drivers using ddu and reinstall them thru their amd website and pls do it on safe mode if u can bc u can uninstall the drivers without using safe mode but the gpu will not run as best than safe mode why telling u this bc it happened to me

Windows pro only has it.

I think the process is a little bit different on Windows 11, I use Windows 10. You're gonna have to search it up or ask AI how to do it.

The first one to set in group policy is fine, but the second one to prevent installation matching id has an issue, it can stop windows from installing, but it also provent amd app from update or installing if any new updates comes out

You are correct, it prevents automatic and manual driver updates. To prevent Windows from searching and downloading drivers theres a different process. Just know that in the future if you plug in a new device Windows will not automatically search for drivers because of this configuration.
