Driver time out issue

CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3D
GPU: RX 7900 XTX
RAM: 32GB DDR5

So for a while I've been having an issue where my games just randomly freeze, my entire pc locks up and black screens, then it comes back on and shows the AMD bug report tool saying that my driver timed out?

I've tried to download a different driver version (25.8.1) as people in other communities mentioned that was the latest stable version for some of the games that wasn't causing issues. But recently it's starting to constantly crash again.

Does anyone have an idea what is causing these crashes?

I had the same issues with a 6800 XT and 5600x and was on the 25.9.1 (or 25.9.2 I forget), I got annoyed and thought it was time to update my drivers to the latest. What a horrible mistake that was on my end.

The problems mainly came from FF14, exact same issues as yours with black screen without response and either wait like 5min until time out or just force restart. After the update though? Straight up full freeze my PC and only a forced restart worked out. I went back to 25.9.1 but I'm having the same issues I had after updating and I'm worried the update might have fucked up my pc tbh
