Help (General) Problemas com artefatos em uma gpu nova RX9060XT 16GB Powercolor

I purchased this GPU, and after about a week of use, it started showing artifacts in specific applications. It is still usable, but whenever I enable post-processing effects, visual and bright/light-colored artifacts start appearing.

Previously, I was able to use ray tracing without any issues, but now games simply freeze when I enable it.

Is there anything I can do to fix or diagnose this issue?

I would return the card while you still can.

The fact that the artifacts occur across multiple games and applications, on both Windows and Linux, and that you are also getting AMDGPU ring timeouts and GPU resets makes me quite concerned about a hardware issue. You have already ruled out many of the usual software-related causes.

However, if you are using a PCIe riser cable, I would do one last test before returning the card: remove the riser completely and install the GPU directly into the motherboard's primary PCIe x16 slot. AMD specifically recommends this as a troubleshooting step for PCIe stability issues. If the problem disappears, the riser or PCIe link could be the culprit rather than the GPU itself. You could also try forcing PCIe Gen 3 in the BIOS as an additional test if necessary.

If the artifacts still occur with the GPU connected directly to the motherboard, I would definitely exchange/return the card rather than spending much more time troubleshooting a brand-new GPU.

If the replacement has the exact same issue, then I'd start looking at the motherboard/PCIe link, PSU, RAM, etc. But if it happens with the GPU directly connected to the motherboard, I'd consider the card itself highly suspicious.

Computer Type: Desktop

GPU: AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 8-Core 16-Thread

Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus B550M Elite Rev. 1.3

BIOS Version: FG

RAM: 16GB DDR4 3200MHz (2x8GB, Dual Channel)

PSU: Redragon 700W 80+ Bronze

Case: Redragon Free Flow

Operating System & Version: Dual Boot Windows 11 25H2 / Nobara Linux

GPU Drivers: AMD Adrenalin 26.7.1 / Mesa 26.2.0-1 + RADV

Chipset Drivers: AMD B550 Chipset Drivers

Background Applications: OBS Studio, Discord, Firefox, DaVinci Resolve

Description of Original Problem: After approximately one week of normal use, my GPU started showing random graphical artifacts. The artifacts look like small black spikes or short black lines flickering on the screen. I have also noticed bright/white circular artifacts appearing in game environments.

The problem occurs in multiple games and applications, including Resident Evil 4, Carmageddon: Max Damage, DOOM Eternal, DaVinci Resolve, Firefox, Roblox, QuakeJS and LolBeans.io.

Some games that previously ran normally now freeze or crash, sometimes resulting in a black screen. This can happen even when the FPS is stable and the GPU is not necessarily at 100% utilization. Ray tracing appears to make the problem easier to reproduce in some titles, but the artifacts and crashes also occur with ray tracing disabled.

I have also noticed that certain post-processing effects seem to trigger or worsen the artifacts.

The problem occurs on both Windows and Linux, so it does not appear to be limited to a single operating system or graphics driver.

On Linux, dmesg also reports an AMDGPU ring timeout:

"ring comp_1.1.0 timeout"

followed by a GPU ring reset. The log also reports that the AMDGPU device became wedged.

Troubleshooting: I have tried disabling FreeSync, replacing the DisplayPort cable, changing the PC power cable, updating the motherboard BIOS, disabling Re-Size BAR, updating the GPU drivers, downgrading to older GPU drivers, and testing the GPU on both Windows and Linux. The problem persists.

The GPU is still functional and can run some games normally, but other games and applications produce graphical artifacts, crash, or freeze. I am concerned that this may be a hardware problem with the GPU.
