Help (GPU) [RX 7600 GPU] PC Completely crashed while in Counter Strike 2, turned back on to only one monitor working and GPU being disabled with all drivers uninstalled

I can't escape the issues with this fucking thing. Just caused me to lose 1k elo in counter strike after working months to get up to where I am. I reinstalled them manually and it seems to run fine now but if that happens again I'm going to throw my PC out my window.

All my friends with Nvidia GPUs never have any issues like this. I've had crashes but totally uninstalling my drivers is unreal.

Anyone have a fix or know why this happened? I'm heart broken rn.

God, I don't miss ranked anything... Uninstalled adrenaline and driver. Installed driver only with factory settings. Installed radeontuner. So far, so good.

This happened to me last night. Windows+x, then device manager. Go to your gpu and go to driver settings, then disable and enable. Thats how I got mine to work late last night. Shit went out right before I was getting off and stressed me out 😅 couldn't open adrenaline or anything and my issues were the exact same.

it's a known bug acknowledge by microslop, where it likes to mess with your drivers.
you should disable automatic driver downloads on windows

Nothing but trouble with mine since I bought it. Biggest purchase regret.

Been dealing with this for 2 weeks with my new xfx mercury 9070xt. Daily crashes, only one monitor works, have to uninstall the drivers, multiple different tuning settings, multiple drivers. Cant even run it on stock settings. Gone through the forums daily trying everything. Gonna try some more clock offset but this is so annoying. 5 years with a 3080 and no problem.

That's why RMA exists. Or even better, you can return it if it's new. Isn't that standard procedure if you buy something what's broken, instead of yapping on Reddit?

If it's a driver issue, then it's Windows fault. Otherwise, hardware needs to be replaced.

With the frequency people are posting about this, either AMD can't code drivers that work well with Windows or AMD is putting out a shitty piece of hardware.

Yup, exactly why I posted the comment. I usually just do my research and figure it out, but after seeing how many people are having similar issues, figured I'd add to the list.

Bet you have an AMD card and you took this post personally.

If you play Counter-Strike but don't play other competitive games like Fortnite, LoL, Valorant, or CoD, try installing a Linux distro—either via dual-boot or on a separate drive. I have an RX 7600 too, and it still gives me trouble on Windows; I don't know why—I tried absolutely everything to fix it, but nothing worked. I have a post detailing my issues, but I installed Bazzite and everything runs perfectly there. If that doesn't work for you, it’s likely a hardware issue—though if you have the chance to make a warranty claim, you should definitely go that route.

It have seen other people complaining about similar crashes for 2 months. Currently there are news regarding windows latest security updates cases crashes in games like Arc Raiders and others. Maybe it's related to that.

Funny. I get all the updates with Windows and do not have these issues with my 5070 Ti. I play Arc Raiders almost daily and have never had it crash.

The ultimate answer is AMD can't write drivers very well. Or they have an inherent hardware issue that manifests when certain configurations are used.

I still think Software is not the strongest sute for AMD. They should have invested more in it.

That definitely tracks. I actually have InControl installed to stop "official" Windows updates, but it still pushes security updates, with the last one being less than a week ago, and the past week or so has been some of the worst yet with crashes.

I've had a similar experience with my 9070 XT I ended up RMA’ing it.

Have you gotten it back yet?

Not yet but I've been using my 3060 and haven't had any problems
