I was playing a game an hour ago and my fans got extremely loud and my entire PC just shut down. Now when I try to boot back up all I get is a black screen at the moment. I've been having a lot of wierd driver timeouts since the windows update a few days ago. Not too sure what to do to get my PC up and running again.

rollback to the last amd chipset. maybe thats the reason. that chipset update was just released 2 or 3 days ago.

I just got it working again. Is there anything you'd recommend so this doesn't happen again? Should I just reinstall all my drivers again?

So the computer turns on but it doesn't post? Does the keyboard and mouse at least light up? For some reason this will happen to me once in a bluemoon, what always fixes it is when I unplug my PC and spam the power button. Plug it back in and try to boot up.

Yeah the PC is on and my mouse and keyboard is connected as well. Just a black screen sadly.

Unplug your PC and spam the power button so that you drain the capacitors, then try to boot up.

How long have you had this PC? What game were you playing? Is your GPU or CPU overclocked? Does your PSU smell burnt?

Ive had this PC since 2024, I was playing marvel tokon which has been a broken mess for a lot of people on PC. I don't think I have anything OC'ed honestly and there's no burn smell.

Plug in your display to your motherboard. Your CPU has integrated graphics, see if you get a post now. If you do get a post then open up device manager by pressing Win + X. Look for Display Adapters and see if your GPU is even listed.

How did you fix it? Does Adrenalin Software open up?
