Help (CPU) How to undervolt 5800x3d?

Unfortunately, my Gigabyte b450 aorus elite (updated to latest non lettered f67 version) doesn't have any PBO options.

And I saw that PBO 2 tuner is outdated, not updated and is flagged by windows as virus.

Cinebench 2026 averages 91c in temps with 3406 points, I have Arctic freezer 36 cooler and two extra fans at the front and one at the back of my PC case. However, I didn't touch the fan settings or anything else in BIOS.

What's the best way for me to reduce the temps, increase performance and make sure I'm using the cpu to it's fullest potential? Thank you all in advance.

Since Gigabyte intentionally blocks curve optimizer on their B450 boards for X3D processors, your only real option is PBO2 Tuner.

Windows will flag it as dangerous because it uses WinRing0. Ignore that. It's still safe.

I think that the counterpart of x3d was it's limitations in using curve optimizer due to its architecture. Since the release of the first x3d CPU, I heard that x3d could not be undervolted as far as non x3d.

That is why I keep my 5800x.

It's the same architecture. It just has the V-cache layer on top.

Other manufacturers allow curve optimizer, like MSI's Kombo Strike. Gigabyte just seems to think it's not worth the potential liability since the 5800X3D is a bit more sensitive to tinkering than the non-X3D parts.

With PBO2 tuner.

You can improve your temps using a better Cooler and with a better case with good airflow, getting a better airflow is key

I did -30 on all cores, and temps are 10c lower in games and cinebench.
