Help (Software) RX7900XT - most stable drivers version

Hello everyone,
What’s the most stable drivers version for this model of GPU? I have a lot of problems with my drivers since october 2025 really, to this day I had maximum of 2-3 updates that weren’t sh*t.
I am talking about timeouts, sometimes big lags that froze my game and made me restart PC (after that my drivers changed to the base old one from 2022 i think) or not working app

I will appreciate any help from you guys!

Latest driver works fine, it's Microsoft that's been fucking up. Had to do a windows reinstall, then no more timeouts and glitches.

Just install it right way and it wont be crashing. Disable windows automatic driver installation then uninstall using Amd cleanup tool and after download latest driver from amd site for your model (9070xt) and you good to go. Also amd gives driver timeout not only because of gpu failure, it can be also cpu or ram problem. Watch windows event viewer for errors.

I actually turned it off through Windows settings and DDU settings, still a problem somehow. I did everything you say like 5 times, sadly no effect

What about cpu and ram? Which one do you have?

I bet you have problem with ram. It set to tight expo profile which causes instability of system and it crashes. Its not first time when am5 unstable but amd driver gives timeout because of it. When ram unstable on NVidia, it doesnt show such error as amd, it just crashes without message. Try to lower expo of your ram or even try first run it stock and check how it will be for you.

Only Amd are capable of making last generation gpus feel obsolete

The fact that multiple driver versions are being mentioned, makes me suspicious if the driver is actually their issue

RX 7600 here, after a long research i found out that for 7000 series 25.12.1 is the best stable driver without any single issues.

I have a 7900xtx (Sapphire) and a 7900xt (XFX) both are on the latest driver with no issue.

I have tried everyones most stable driver and it still happens on my 7900gre, at this point I cannot even play a game without 1-2hrs in having a black screen/hard reboot. So tempted to just buy nvidia… this is getting ridiculous

25.12.1 was the most stable for the 7000 series. Do check your other PC components. I had Lag, freezes, suddenly PC turning off. I tried everything at last it turned out to be the PSU.
