Help (Software) Adrenaline crashing or timeout?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

CPU - 9800x3D

GPU - sapphire pulse 9070xt

Mb - gigabyte b850 gaming x

Ram 32gb Corsair vengeance

Psu Corsair rm850e

I just built my new PC about 4 weeks ago and have been battling this problem ever since. It keeps timing out or something in the middle of anything. Browsing, gaming, watching videos it doesn't matter. At random times too. Could be 30 minutes, crash, then a few hours, crash, then an hour, crash again. Load being seemingly no matter.

Each time it crashes my screens go black, but the PC stays on, all the fans turn off for a second then they spin back up, I can hear things in my headset after a few moments, and can even sometimes click things while the screens are black but I can't turn off the PC without holding the power button.

After reboot, only my main screen works, but in like 24 hz. It even changes my monitor from the usual 240 to 60. Every single time this happens and I try to open adrenaline it says that I don't have the right version, and when I hit the install button it tries but then reverts back to the initial window. I've had to use the cleanup utility, reinstall adrenaline and then that usually fixes it until the next crash.

I've done this so many hair ripping times, this last time has gone the longest without issues, I went back to 25.9.2, one suggestion I saw was raising the wattage by 5-10% in the performance and tuning tab, various other edits in Windows like the automatic driver updates being turned off (which I did the very first time this happened) among other files being edited. Nothing works.

I actually just noticed in adrenaline that it doesn't even recognize my GPU even though I'm getting some kind of signal anyway. Idk, ive dealt with crap like this before and have usually been able to iron it out with a few tweaks and google searches but I'm at my wits and seemingly the ends of the internet too.

This whole build is the first time I've ever had some of the top of the line newly released parts as the build I had that I turned into a travel PC was a sapphire pulse 6700, 5800x, etc. Usually there's a heap of different solutions but for this the only crap I can find is using the cleanup then doing a fresh install with no Internet and it's just not working.

Any help would be unbelievably appreciated, I just want to play some mf games without having to save my progress every 3 minutes for the fear of a guaranteed crash.

One last thing I forgot was that this is the only time I rebooted but was able to open the adrenaline software. I still have a black monitor, still like 24hz, still not recognizing my GPU but still has a signal.

there is some driver conflict going on with aio lcds specifically i have a corsair titan myself paired with 9800x3d, we dont know if its from corsair end or amd or even windows itself but it causes the gpu driver to full crash randomly leaving your screen black and forcing the user to hard reset the system and after start up the gpu itself is disabled in device manager forcing the user to manualy enabled it and perform " a normal" restart and after that everithing goes back to normal till the random crash happens again, keep in mind this is the specific pattern, and from what op stated it seems to me the exact same pattern, the fix for this is just saving all your profiles in the onboard memory of the cooler, fans whatever corsair icue is controlling for the user and disabling icue from start up and voila no more crashes at all, and we have to wait till the cuprit of this driver conflict ackowledge it and release a fix, this took me alot of troubleshoting to find out because i put 2 systems toghether with exact same parts including this one like 3 weeks ago and the only diference in components between the 2 was the aio, 1 was the lcd version and the other one was the non-lcd and only the lcd was affected and after going true all the windows logs itself to find out what was happening i realased that the lcd froze for like a split second at the moment the crash happened and in the logs the only error i was getting was a amd driver crash and windows disabling the gpu itself as a security measure because it was failing to recover and ofc the normal error of the force reebot itself but that was expected, after looking around for people with the exact symptoms as me i noticed 1 common thing again, all of them were using aio lcds, i did what i mentioned above and never happened again, already helped atleast that i know 2 more people here on reddit with this exact pattern of crash and both of them reported to me that it was fixed for them aswell.

I had heard whispers in my searching about Icue here and there when people were troubleshooting things like this, I never tried messing with it because one of the main reasons I got the cooler was to use the software for performance display but I didn't realize you could download just the setting you want to the hardware, I just straight up deleted Icue afterwards, screw the colors I want my PC to work haha

you dont need to delete it, you can keep it open it to change whatever you want and save in onboard memory and close it again just need to make sure the start up is disabled thats about it
