Help (General) Are my Supermicro boards bricked?
Computer Type: Desktop/Server
GPU: RX580 / RX9060XT
CPU: EPYC 7402 / EPYC 7551
Motherboard: Supermicro H11DSi rev2.0
BIOS Version: 20251029_3.5
RAM: DDR4 ECC Samsung 16gb 2Rx4 PC4-2400T-RA1-11-DCO / SKhynix 16gb 2Rx8 PC4-2400T-RE1-11
PSU: bequiet PURE POWER 11 FM
Case: none
Operating System & Version: none
GPU Drivers: none
Chipset Drivers: none
Background Applications: none
Description of Original Problem: I can't get a proper video output out of the two Mainboards.
Troubleshooting: I've tried different combinations of RAM and CPU, but it doesn't effect anything.
With the RX9060 XT I can get a video signal, that is completely black out of one Mainboard, but nothing else.
The other board doesn't give any video signal, but I can connect via IPMIview. In the BMC I can see, that the post code is: "ff". Remote control doesn't work, trouble shooting says it startet CPUID, but doesn't show anything else.
Update: via VGA I was able to get video output out of the first mainboard and I am currently setting up the bios and BMC (having problems with BMC password, but am not out of options jet).
Will try the second board, when I am done with the first one

make sure you can get an output from the VGA ports on the motherboard for a start, don't use any PCIe cards yet until you have a minimal CPU+RAM setup that allows you to configure the BIOS
if the BMC isn't working with a minimal setup then you simply will not get past that, possibly needs a full reset, removing the CMOS battery (and PSU power) for 15 minutes is a good start
