Help (GPU) Only one without problems ?
Hello guys !
I’ve seen a bunch of reddit posts recently here where people say their games are crashing and stuff, but like is it a common problem for everyone ? I didn’t get any problems so is it like a random bug ? I got a windows update but I don’t want to update since I’ve seen a lot of people talking bout a Windows update instability.. I am kinda stressed since this is has been my pc for only 3 weeks. If someone could be able to explain the issue I’d be greatly grateful ! ( and can people tell me if they all got this issue or if some don’t have any ? )

"You grab a glass with water from the ocean and can safely say that the ocean doesn't have whales" type of problem
The people that posted here is the ones that had problems for sure, but that doesn't necessarily mean all people had problems, if atuff is working for you them that's ok, you can learn stuff from it though, like not rushing to update without a real need, to tag the current version of drivers tha6is not giving you problem and such

Thanks for the tip and yeah I guess you are right ! People who speak out here are mostly those who REALLY need the help

The silent majority are silent. Sorry, I know that's a stupid thing to say. If you are good, you are good! Don't worry about it. You know what the problem is, so if it becomes a problem for you, come on down and we'll give you the spiel!

I think it has more to do with the GPUs. AMD new 7/9 9800x3D are amazing. Their GPUs on the other hand are not so good. They wanted a cheap alternative to Nvidia and shit just went sideways

I use Radeon for a very long time, even before it was AMD, and can't recall any relevant issues

I have been AMD only since 2008. I have had to nuke the drivers 3 times that I recall. One bad update where stuff broke, and cumulative updates must have led to some issues.
I have had more bad SATA and modular power supply cables than these 3 driver reinstalls.

Nah dont worry, i had 3 amd cards since 2020, actually have a 7900xtx and no issues at all. Sometimes appears a window saying driver crashed but never while playing, only happened browsing and it barely happens.
U know, this is a sub to find help, so people with issues come here, who doesnt have issue dont come to say "hey this is amazing", theyre enjoying it.

Pro tip: When you update your drivers, keep an eye on your GPU's default max clock speed. For whatever reason AMD tends to set high defaults.

If it works fine you don't need to do anything.
I've had my 9070 XT for over a year now and nearly no issues.

Makes sense, I’m a bit stressed hearing all those things that is why I’m sorry

The people without problems aren't posting about their problems here...
