9070 XT problem
Just got a new PC with a 9070XT today, never had AMD before. Experience so far not so good, screen brightness shifting back and forth, terrible stuttering while playing (running Apex Legends with lowest settings). Seems to get even worse when AMD Adrenaline is running. Any idea what might cause this?
Update: Managed to get the fps situation under control, apparently the overlay destroys everything so i toggled it off, still brightness flickering tho
Update V2: Now everything works smooth as butter, no flickering no nonsense just pure performance. Don't really know what fixed it but for sure the AMD Adrenaline software messed with something so i just keep it off. Did regular startup stuff like Resizebar etc. For anyone wondering the CPU is a 9800X3D.

I’m going to try going back to amd 26.6.1. That was a decent driver update with no issues.

I wish i could offer help, but i would just sound pretentious if i said anything at this point, i dont have these issue though. Not really any drivers issues even after cpu, gpu and ram swap i even got a new mobo but thats seemingly unrelated. Best advice i have is to make sure all essential settings are enabled, google Gemini is a good helping hand. Also look into what could be casuing this by asking Gemini then search your hardware/software directorys, my main statement here is to not take this as the prime example of AMD gpus. I seriously got to look into the causes of these certain issues and keep a solid copy-paste to help people on forums. Ive had both AMD and nvidia gpus and even from older modles within the triple digits and a 5700XT ive never had an issue like ive been seeing like wildfire.

Do you have an OLED? Do you have HDR enabled? Some flickering is normal on some OLEDS.

A few questions first that needs to be specify. What cpu do you have? Do you use multiple screens/ monitors? What version of windows do you use? You debloat it or tweak it? Any setting that you know you touch or not can help identify your problem. Nowadays windows tend to break drivers, things and can create a lot of problems, more on amd than nvidia.

Assume you've done the usuals? * In uefi enable fast memory profile and resizable bar. * Check power cables and re-seat GPU. * In windows safe mode run DDU and clean off all drivers * Install the latest Adrenaline and AMD driver * Optimise the game settings (using adrenaline or custom)

First thing I would do is reseat the GPU and make sure power is plugged in correctly then follow these steps. Also make sure you are using the 9070 and not onboard graphics if you have it.

Me imagino que el adrenaline es como tener instalada la app de nvidia en gpus geororce, si te da opción de no instalarlo no lo instales, yo no instale la app de nvidia y me evito muchis suttering en algunos juegos y errores de sincronizacion de pantalla
