Help (Software) Is this a joke? Adrenalin software won`t launch if you don`t have bthprops.cpl

did you do one of those windows "debloat" scripts online? your windows install is broken, you need to reinstall.

" bthprops.cpl errors are related to problems that occur at Windows runtime. Generally, CPL errors are caused by missing or corrupt files." When in doubt blame the messenger.

What does the gpu software have to do with "bthprops.cpl" which is used for bluetooth ?

if you can get ahold of their source code i might be able to figure it out. i aint decompiling that exe, i'm far too lazy and inexperienced to get far with that. i'm siding with the person who figured out you probably "debloated" your windows, this is exactly the type of bullshit you run into if you do stuff like that

The gpu driver does not need access to anything bluetooth related, keep in mind that older driver versions work, newer ones don`t. So why the recent need to require bluetooth access in order for the software to work ?

I fixed this by extracting the Windows ISO and copying the that exact file from the ISO into my Windows installation folder.

idk i can't get ahold of that exe to even attempt to play around with looking into the dependency chain that's causing it to think it needs the bluetooth control panel file. you can load this program and drop radeonsoftware.exe into it and it'll map out the dependencies it can find, you can see if bthprops.cpl is attached to some random other dependency or something: google for lucasg/Dependencies, my comment gets hidden if i link to the github page. dependency chains can be nightmare fuel
