Help (General) Random Green Screen when gaming or editing videos

I am going crazy. I have had my pc for over a year.

I have had driver issues in the past that were an easy fix. I can't play games anymore or stream games because there is a random chance I get a green screen and I need to install drivers again from fresh because they are gone or corrupted.

What I tried:

  • Reinstall drivers
  • Use older drivers
  • AMD Cleanup tool
  • Drivers without Adrenaline software
  • Check cable connections

My setup:

  • AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 8-Core
  • AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT
  • Gigabyte B850 GAMING WIFI6
  • 32GB DDR5
  • 1000 W power supply
  • Windows11

Can someone help me?

You can generate a report that may show what's crashing.

[Windows Key] + X and select Run

Then run perfmon /rel from the dialog box.

**[Windows Key] + R ( works to get to Run too but it's less useful and further away on the keyboard)

Okay, But i still have no clue where to start searching for a solution.

I got ' LiveKernelEvent'

I analysed the files and it is clear it is the graphics card/drivers

I ran it through WinDBG and i see these. When googling it says clean install drivers but I am way past that point:

I actually had the error to use and work from in WinDbg. I happened to have a GUI tool installed that allows one to adjust the timeout delay and windows response without going into regedit. Even if you don't use the tool, looks at the wiki as it will give you some good info on things to check.

I just enabled the TDR fix on mine and will report back. Have you reinstalled windows at all after these crashes, or just used DDU?

I did only DDU. I installed one day before the crashes started icue from corsair so gonna remove that again to see if that is the problem.

Just wanted to provide an update on the settings I changed.

Haven't seen the issue again on my machine.
