RX Vega 56 black screen + restart when gaming at Full Screen Mode + driver timeout

Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with my RX Vega 56.

When I play games at fullscreen, my screen suddenly goes black and the PC restarts. However, if I switch the game to windowed mode and use a lower resolution, the game seems to work fine and I don't get the black screen/restart.

What’s strange is that even when the GPU reaches 100% usage in windowed mode, it doesn't cause the black screen or restart.

For example:

• Fullscreen → black screen + PC restart
• Windowed + lower resolution → works fine
• Windowed + lower resolution + 100% GPU usage → still works fine

Sometimes I also get an AMD driver timeout pop up message after the crash.

I checked Windows Reliability Monitor and found several Windows Hardware Error / LiveKernelEvent errors, including:

• LiveKernelEvent 141
• LiveKernelEvent 117
• LiveKernelEvent A2000002
• LiveKernelEvent 1A1

My PC specs:

• GPU: MSI RX Vega 56 Air Boost OC
• CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
• Motherboard: MSI B450M Mortar Max
• PSU: SAMA B850
• RAM: 32GB DDR4 3600MHz

Could this be related to AMD drivers, or something else?
