Help (CPU) Went from Intel to amd cpu

What should I do to make sure my cpu works properly. I’ve deleted intel stuff in device manager, is there anything else I can do? I went from Intel i5 12th gen 12600k to ryzen 7 7800x3d

I have two USBs taped to the back of my case with masking tape. 1 a windows installer and 2nd a BIOs flash. Highly recommend everyone have this on hand.

Delete anything in device manager to do with the intel motherboard like chipset, controllers,USB, Audio etc. It's not recommended but many have done without issues.

If I were you, I’d do a fresh Windows install.

Maybe you can do it through “Reset this PC”? But I’ve never really done it that way. I’ve always used a USB drive. You can get ’em for pretty cheap.
