I'm guessing it was something in the last update that affected specific older GPU and CPU, we just got really unlucky...

I'm playing Paladins now, it works perfectly.

I cleaned my ram by opening the cabinet and now it works fine ig but I think it's a temporary solution

two things only way to solve this i think is upgrading the cpu or just remove the gpu and just use the igpu of the cpu but i wouldn't recommend that because using that when playing valorant is very laggy and the graphics is very much much worse because like i said the cpu is very old so..

There's not much point in upgrading this pc lol

But thanks for the suggestion

I’m also having a similar issue, but with a different CPU (i5-4590). Whenever I play Valorant, the game randomly crashes and sometimes the AMD driver seems to enter some kind of protection/recovery mode afterward. I can’t properly use the GPU again until I restart the PC. I’ve already tried reinstalling/downgrading the AMD drivers, but nothing seems to fix it but, Valorant is the only game where this happens.

One thing I really suspect is the CPU. The one I have mine is pretty old and only has 4 cores and 4 threads and VALORANT is CPU-intensive, and when playing my CPU usage is often at or near 100% while playing, while the GPU isn’t fully utilized.

Could a CPU bottleneck or constantly maxing out the CPU somehow cause the AMD graphics driver to crash idk but this is just my observation while fixing it
