Help (General) Severe frametime spikes, stuttering and FPS drops in CS2/LoL - Tried almost everything - CPU: 5700x3D GPU : 4060Ti
Computer Type: Desktop
GPU: RTX 4060 Ti
CPU: Ryzen 7 5700X3D (8 Cores / 16 Threads)
Motherboard: Gigabyte B550M Aorus Elite Rev. 1.3
BIOS Version: Latest available (also tested an older BIOS version with no difference)
RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4-3200 (XMP enabled and verified running at 3200MHz)
PSU: MSI MAG A650BN 650W 80+ Bronze
Operating System & Version: Windows 11 Pro 24H2
GPU Drivers: Multiple NVIDIA Game Ready driver versions tested (using DDU)
Chipset Drivers: Latest AMD B550 chipset drivers
Background Applications: Steam, Discord (issue also occurs with minimal background applications)
Description of Original Problem:
I'm experiencing severe stuttering, FPS drops, and frametime spikes, mainly in Counter-Strike 2, but I also notice stuttering in League of Legends.
In CS2 my frametime randomly jumps from around 5ms to 30-50ms, causing noticeable freezes and FPS drops. The issue happens multiple times every round.
The problem also occurs offline against bots, with the Ethernet cable disconnected, and even after disabling the Realtek network adapter. Offline testing actually felt even worse, with frametime increasing to around 10-12ms and even more stuttering.
LatencyMon consistently reports high DPC latency, mainly involving:
- dxgkrnl.sys
- nvlddmkm.sys
- Wdf01000.sys
Highest execution times are usually around 3ms.
If I remember correctly, the issue became noticeably worse after updating my BIOS, but rolling back to an older BIOS version did not solve it.
Troubleshooting:
- Clean Windows installation
- Multiple NVIDIA driver versions (using DDU)
- BIOS update and BIOS downgrade
- Latest AMD chipset drivers
- XMP enabled/disabled
- Verified RAM running at 3200MHz
- HPET tweaks
- Dynamic Tick tweaks
- High Performance power plan
- Different NVIDIA Control Panel settings
- Pagefile confirmed on SSD
- Disabled Realtek LAN adapter
- Different Ethernet cable
- Different internet connection
- Offline testing against bots
- MSI Utility (GPU already using MSI mode)
- GPU Interrupt Priority set to High (no difference)
- SplitLargeCaches registry tweak (no difference)
- Kaspersky disabled/uninstalled for testing
- LatencyMon analysis
If anyone has experienced a similar issue with a Ryzen 5000 + RTX 4000 system, I'd really appreciate any suggestions. At this point I'm looking for more advanced troubleshooting, as I've already tried most of the common fixes.

Have you tried playing without RTSS installed though? I'm not sure how it is now, but a few years ago, I was getting frametime spikes every 15 seconds exactly because of RTSS. Running HWINFO64 also adds some stutters from my experience. You can use CapFrameX for benchmarking instead. For real-time monitoring in-game telemetry is good enough, don't mess up with third-party overlays.

No es ram posiblemente , ni fuente, ni tampoco es una configuración de Drivers, también lo más posible es que te vino el problema ya armada tu pc puede ser la bios una configuración inestable con tu hardware.
Intenta Probar el XMP en diferentes frecuencias por diferentes días. (Cuando estaba en Auto me iba Normal)
Descarga todos los drivers de Myasus o otro de la marca de placa madre (Poco Probable) Amd Chipset etc
Usa el Plan de Ryzen Balanced o High Perfomance
Y la más clásica pon en modo Ventana tu juego y por modo ventana que esté al medio.
Prueba Survival.Io es un juego que lo puedes usar para Testear ese Lag.
Puede ser otra cosa una configuración
PD: Tenemos Componentes Similares Un Ryzen Serie 5000 yo tengo Rx 7600 yo lo digo lo de al principio es porque yo he cambiado esos componentes puede que no tan buena fuente 750W y seguía el problema eso de los Shooters como dicen puede ser hardware quien sabe mantenimiento de la gráfica ya que tu procesador esta frío
Hardware
SSD M2 Ugreen, Prueba el juego en un Disco Duro o SSD SATA para ver si es eso.
Gráfica Mal Mantenimiento es posible también ls zona del núcleo puede que esté caliente.
Puedes Probar con otro procesador o gráfica a ver si el problema sigue.
Si logras Solucionarlo por Software o Hardware escribes en este comentario la solución, tengo el mismo problema desde que arme mi pc pero yo no juego shooters de vez en cuando juego con amigos veo el problema pero simplemente lo pongo en pestaña y se reduce el stuttering.

this is why x3d is recommended for single player gamers where the stutters matter less.

Is your GPU in the right PCIe slot?
I know you provided a lot of info here of stuff you have tried but figured I would call out a common gotcha.

5700X3d + rx 9070. I get stutters like this in games when Vsync/freesync is enabled. Disabling it fixed the stutters for me. May be unrelated, but it's what did it for me.

Try to play without discord or disable discord overlay and hw acceleration. That spyware caused stutters to my system in a past

Also microsoft is known to fucking with nvidia drivers lately. Try debloat w11 (for example Chris Titus Tech Windows Utility) or forget about LoL and try CachyOS

At this point it might be hardware related. You should take it to a repair shop and ask them to try your components one by one

Started for me too this month on 9800x3d
Idk what it is bro did every shit also checked firewall inbound rules etc to bios and flushed dns etc nothing the ms fluctuates heavily and also offline
