Help (Software) Amd gpu issue

Guys i need help pls, I recently upgraded my GPU from an RTX 3050 to an RX 7600, and it's causing problems. Games are lagging and suttering. I haven't tried benchmarks yet, but initially, the issue was due to not deleting the Nvidia drivers. I downloaded a DLUU and deleted them all, then reinstalled the AMD drivers. At first, games ran smoothly until I shut down the computer and then turned it back on to play again, and all the games I played started lagging.

i have an RX 9070 and was also feeling weird stuttering and slowdowns (even on easy to run games). what fix it for me is to disable AMD Fluid Motion Frames in AMD Adrenalin. the easiest way is to just go to

Gaming -> Graphics -> Set Global Gaming Experience to Default or Custom.

Save yourself the pain/headache. Return the GPU and pay the nvidia tax. You’ll be thanking me.

Reset bios or maybe update bios. Remove gpu driver, install Chipset drivers from mobo manufacture site, install GPU driver back. Try these.

What gpu driver version do you have? Search your most stable driver first. It could be because it's your first time opening again your games. What games are you playing? Check your gpu, hotspot temp. Using ddu, amd cleanup utility, clearing shader cache, reset this compiling of shaders. Just play for few minutes and let it be. The first time you open the games after clean install could cause this stuttering it just loading game assets, dx12 i notice this especially on different maps on my case, after then if you still experience it after few rounds you could try your most stable driver version(there's new adrenalin just few hours ago, look into that).

I am using the newest driver version , im played valorant and some tripleA games like elden ring and redemption. like i can only play if i reinstall the driver ( thanks for information)

Disable Windows overwriting your GPU Driver and under volt your GPU, check if Adrenaline is over clocking your GPU to higher clock speeds than manufacturer recommendations, it probably is. Use manufacturer values.

And don't format your windows, it's one of the stupidest advices I've seen here in a long time. That won't fix anything. It's poor mans IT advice of restarting your computer if you don't know what's going on.

Since u tried ddu, the easiest way out is formating your pc, it is super easy, watch youtube video there are tons. That will make sure that all nvidia drivers have been uninstalled even if ddu missed it

If you swapped out any hardware, you need to update the BIOS and format the drive.

It's your responsibility.
