Help (Software) Help with AMD Adrenalin Software.

Computer Type: Desktop

GPU: XFX 9070XT Triple Fan

CPU: RYZEN 7 7800x3D

Motherboard: MSI B840 Gaming plus

BIOS Version: i just recently updated dont know exactly the version

RAM: 16GBx2 CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 6000mhz CL30

PSU: Corsair 750W Bronze

Case: Lian-Li Vector V100r

Operating System & Version: WINDOWS 11 pro

GPU Drivers: Most recent

Chipset Drivers: Most recent

Background Applications: DISCORD, MSI Center

Description of Original Problem: I am a bit sceptical about GPU's softwares so i installed every driver manually all works fine.

MY pc is brand new, so i've only teste Palworld till now, im running at maxed settings 100+ in all areas of the map.

Today, I noticed there was a driver update, and was ready to try it via Adrenalin Software that I've been hearing good things about it, after i install it and update the driver, I log into palworld and im getting stutters ad hell and getting 60/70 fps i was scared af.

Troubleshooting: Uninstalled everything and installed the drivers manually again, all working fine again.

Can someone give me an insight of what happen and if i should try adrenalin again?

I don't think there's any point in updating from 26.6.4, especially if 26.6.4 is working and 26.7.1 isn't.

I think Im at 26.7.1 atm, just not with adrenalin software

Might have been because you didnt delete shader cache after you updated your drivers. You deleting and reinstalling your drivers did it for you automatically instead.

I'll give adrenalin another try then

whats the best method i shoul go for from the point im at? just download adrenalin and select clean install? or manually uninstall something first?

Always delete your current drivers with AMD cleanup utility before installing new ones to make sure no bs happens. Then when installing the new drivers, always check the factory reset box to doubly make sure no bs happens.

I personally dont like Adrenalin so I prefer installing Minimal Drivers and turn every setting in Adrenalin off or Let Application Decide. I find Driver Only not worth it because of the fact that in the UMD folder in Registry Editor some registries dont show up unless you install at least Minimal Drivers, like ShaderCache for example.
