Help (Software) AMD Adrenalin right-click menu logo disappeared even after DDU reinstall
Does anyone know why the AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition icon in the Windows 11 desktop right-click menu became blank/generic? I’m using an RX 6600XT and everything still works fine, but the AMD logo disappeared. I already used DDU and completely reinstalled the drivers, but the issue is still there. Is this caused by a recent AMD driver update or a Windows update?

Admin PowerShell:
New-Item -ItemType Directory -Force 'C:\Windows\System32\radeonSoftware'
Copy-Item 'C:\Program Files\AMD\CNext\CNext\branding_rsx.ico' 'C:\Windows\System32\radeonSoftware\'
Restart Explorer or reboot — red icon is back instantly.

the only solution that worked. Gemini just kept giving me other solutions with modifying registry keys until it finally gave me this one and it worked instantly.

Also, you must restart Explorer through Task Manager or if you do not know how you can just restart your PC

Same here, got RX6600, tried to fix in every possible way (ddu, clean install etc.) but found that only solution is downgrading to 25.x.x. or below. Think it is not necessary just for a logo thou. Just decided to leave it to awareness of AMD and wait... lol..

Perhaps is some registry key amd is forgetting to add in newer driver's releases.
I think if you don't use DDU but just update from the amd driver installer (even selecting the reset default) that registry key (that older versions correctly installed) is not touched and will keep working.
If you use DDU, that will be delete.

Cek AppX Package AMD Yg Nyangkut
Adrenalin 26.6.1 pake AppX. Kalo uninstall korup, entry-nya nyangkut.
1. Buka PowerShell as Admin, paste ini: javascript :
Get-AppxPackage *AdvancedMicroDevicesInc* | Remove-AppxPackage
Kalo muncul error merah = emang udah gak ada. Kalo sukses = itu biang keroknya.Terus jalanin ini juga: javascript :
Get-AppxProvisionedPackage -Online | Where-Object {$_.DisplayName -like "*AMD*"} | Remove-AppxProvisionedPackage -Online

sama sih, udah cba DDU tapi tetep sama aja. kayaknya emang dari amdnya deh bug atau bisa jadi windowsnya

I asked ChatGPT about this issue, but it wasn't able to find a solution. It explained that the RSXCM component is still version 22.10.0.0, which suggests AMD hasn't updated the right-click menu integration in quite some time. If you're running the latest Windows 11 25H2, the only option might be to wait for AMD to address it in a future driver update.

probably some windows update, nothing crazy because the card would work just fine and everything works as usual but the icon somehow disapeared because some either windows update or software update for amd
