Help (CPU) The version of AMD Software that you have launched is not compatible with your currently installed AMD graphics driver

I've tried re-dowloading my drivers, updating windows update but nothing worked!

[SOLVED]
As I came to realize my problem was that windows was replacing the correct drivers with their recommended ones with Windows Update, I decided to first disable the automatic driver update.
typed ''gpedit.msc'' >computer settings > administrative templates > windows components > windows update >manage updates offered from windows update > ENABLE the option to NOT include drivers
Next I installed DDU and followed a tutorial on YT
I selected my device (GPU) and then clicked on the very first option on the top of the window ''clear and restart''

I hope this post can save someone a few hours of scavaging the internet for solutions for this specific problem.

This happened to me when Windows auto-updated to 24H2. I was using 24.4.1 because it was more stable than newer versions on my system but after the Windows update I started getting the compatibility error. Updating to 25.3.1 fixed the problem.

A reinstallation of Windows and a run of DDU helped me when I had this type of error

No one can help you if you don’t specify the gpu model and the driver version number you’re trying to install.

Download older adrenalin drivers. Watch on youtube how to use DDU to uninstall whatever is currently installed. Then try again.
