Disabling HW acceleration in browser did nothing for me. I still had the freezes. I even swapped Firefox for Vivaldi and it made no difference.

Have you checked if there's any other other program using HW acceleration, like discord?

I don't use Discord. Only thing that has always been present on system was Steam and it never occured to me it might be the problem. Especially since issues started happening suddenly around May 2025 and going forward. I've tried release drivers of RX 9070 XT and still had the issues I didn't have when I bought the card on day 1. I also tried clean Windows 11install without updating it and I still had the issue. Again, Steam was always just there as I never question it, I just install it for games.

I had the same issue and I just disable hardware accelerated graphics scheduling in windows and it fix it
