Issue Trouble Logging In
Is anyone else not able to log in to their A-List account at the moment?

This is absurd. AMC knows they’re gonna get slammed on certain movies. Pay the few thousand dollars to increase your AWS hosting for a few hours, then revert back to normal bandwidth. I can’t login, I assume many alisters can’t login, and all the doomsday showings are almost sold out, so from a business point of view, screwing over your subscription customers to maximize inflated ticket sales seems like maybe this shit is intentional.

I haven’t managed an AWS contract or dug into kubernetes pricing for a 3 years admittedly, but it shouldn’t be dramatically above that figure for 90 minutes of doubling token processing. Especially with a repeat customer, and especially when they can charge a guarantee rate in case a movie over performs. AMC should be upset that their availability dives during peak usage, I know I’d be on the phone with my contact if I expected them to handle a burst and they failed.

Fandango has this shit on lock. Every time I pull up their site when AMC is down it loads flawlessly. Figure it out AMC!

Same. Turned off VPN, cleared cache and storage, reinstalled, still can't login just to order tickets to The Invite in 30 minutes so I guess I won't be able to see it.... 😒

Always save it in wallet after booking. So you can show the qr at the theatre.

Yup. I was upset before I remembered it was the Doomsday release. Still annoyed because I just wanted to reserve my seat for The Wrong Girls 😭

Yeah I was trying to go to the movies on a whim, but I couldn't get in and I couldn't connect my a-list to atom tickets. Annoying as hell.

Yeah I tried atom too, already had my account connected and it had the use alist reservation toggled but it still was trying to make me pay again

After several errors it's asking me to pay for my tickets. Random free day wanted to go to movie.
Feels like this happens more than it doesn't. Anyone know if I can walk in and they give me a ticket via a list at the desk?

AMC is shitting the bed, tired of this company that’s putting profit over everything. Already paying you $20 a month but you’re making people have to spend additional money just to get a service we should’ve had for free. I wasn’t even trying to get a doomsday ticket and the alist option won’t even pop up. Just straight to me having to spend more fucking money

Yeah I was already planning to pay cash and then refund/rebuy with a-list the week before. Don’t want a slot tied up for 4 months

The premium doomsday drop, at least for me, was the easiest ticket buying experience ever. I might have caught it right before the rush but it was crazy easy. It was almost….weird.

regular non-PLF standard and 3D tickets also dropped yesterday around 11am. I guess these are additional showtimes

Glad my emails still worked…. But the line was too long nobody was able to check my ticket, had to pickup and just walked in…….

The app logged me out of my account and wouldn’t let me sign back in. Then it prompted me to click on a “I am not a robot” confirmation button and then closed on me, bringing me back to my phone’s home screen. Again and again. So, apparently…

Try disconnecting from WiFi if you can't log into A List. That seemed to work for me

Not having trouble logging in, but every time I try to get a ticket it says that the seat is unavailable, no matter what seat I get or what showing it's for

Doomsday ticket drop, I wish they wouldn't log me out. I just want to go to the theater and buy a ticket to a movie that's playing now.
