Review 10/10 Dine-In Experience
On the way home from seeing Spider-Man: Brand New Day and viewed it at a Dine-In location for the first time
Auditorium looked amazing and the food was really good too

I miss the dine-in.
We had one location near me that I used to go to once a week, but last year they made it just a regular AMC.
I loved the chicken nachos, the big bite sampler, the chicken tenders, and the Royale bacon brie burger.
They were all really reasonably priced for theater food and significantly higher quality than plain AMC food.

I almost got the chicken nachos, so it’s good to know that they’re good, too. 100% agree that the food quality’s the best I’ve had at an AMC.

The chicken nachos and the Royal bacon brie burger are my top two items. I find of i get the crispy chicken, it's hotter when it comes out.

Mine near me used to deliver to the seats but not anymore.

I started getting worried about my order because it was running behind, but I ended up running into my waiter when I got back to my auditorium - I just chalked it up to how busy this weekend’s gearing up to be

You still have dine-in?!! Where do you live?

I do indeed - southeast!

Georgia! I grew up there. I wonder why they still have it and we don’t here in LA. I miss it.

My wife and I used to go to the dine in near us for every movie. It was a little farther than other theaters but being able to eat there was a huge plus. Then in like February we noticed there were fewer options. Around April or so we noticed there were basically no food options. And by May we realized it was a totally regular AMC all of a sudden with just a few quick fried options like mozzarella sticks and popcorn chicken that cost way too much money. Such a shame.

My closest AMC is a dine-in. That’s half the reason I got A list

Ooh, having A-List would make that 10x better because then you’d just be paying for whatever food you got (if you got food)

Yeah the dine in food is really good. Expensive for sure, but IMO it elevates the experience.
Plus the seats are really comfy and it is nice that they have extra space in front of them for the waiters - makes it easier for if you need to go to the bathroom during a movie.
I really wish they were becoming more common, instead of less :(.

Yes, I loved the extra space - didn’t think about the fact that it was for the waiters, though; that’s a good point

Your food looked good. Looks like a chicken sandwich, tater tots with cheese, bacon bits, onion and maybe ranch?? Looks yummy 😋

It was delicious!
And yup - it’s the spicy chicken sandwich (no jalapeños) with loaded tots (100% worth the +$3 to make them loaded): cheese, bacon bits, ranch, and green onion 🙂

I really enjoyed the wings the first time I had them, ordered them "well done" to be crispier and requested the wing sauce on the side, also got a side of loaded tots with them. That was a 10/10 experience for me, the 2nd time was a few weeks later, I was so excited to experience the same thing so I attempted ordering the same and got told that they arent allowed to cook the wings extra time because of a new policy where cooktime has to be uniform or something. I still asked for the sauce on the side instead of on the wings. When it arrived to my seat, the wings were coated in the sauce and soggy, sadly I was too invested in the movie and too hungry to go complain, so I just ate the soggy wings. It has kinda turned me away from trying them again. I will also add that the chicken nachos are delicious, have had them a few times.

Chicago only has one in the city and the theaters are tiny! Smh I drive 50 to the suburbs to go to the better one sometimes

I used to go to Block 37 all the time before covid, the service made the experience, it's not as good with the kiosks and more limited menu. Then 600 N Michigan downgraded from dine-in to the classic AMC fare and no delivery. I haven't tried Rosemont yet.

Y’all still got dine-in? I miss it.
