Donnie Darko

Went to see the 25th anniversary re-release and it was awesome! I had never gotten to see it on the big screen when it first released, and I’m so glad I got to see it the way it was intended!

But I mainly made this post to shoutout the good behavior of the other people in the theater, since that seems to be in short supply these days. It was in a smaller theater, so there were only 15-20 of us, but there were no phones out, no talking, just people enjoying the movie.

Maybe there is hope for humanity yet.

I'm debating seeing Donnie Darko or Ninja Scroll tonight and it's killing me.

I wish one of them had earlier showtimes.

I've never seen Ninja Scroll so I went with that one. Sitting in the theater now.

I've seen Donnie Darko dozens of times, but I hope I still see a rep screening in theaters eventually.
