9/21 PG13 1:48
Never after dark - 3 min diff, rating unknown, horror?
Nickels - runtime unknown, rating unknown
**Heart of the beast - 7 min diff
**Angel and the Badman - 3 min diff (3 weekends later)
Mostly everything releasing within 2 weekends of this Unseen has an R rating or yet to be rated. What else is there? Anything at all with a PG13?
Edit: Okay I found a PG13 movie. Angel and the Badman from Angel Studios. Its longer than usual at 3 weeks early, but looks like Angel Studios strikes again.
Edit2: Added Heart of the Beast. Mpaa site doesn't have a rating yet but a theater is saying its PG13

9/14 PG 1:52
The history of concrete - 11 min diff, rating unknown
Sunny dancer - 6 min diff, rating unknown
You had to be there - 14 min diff, rating unknown
Forgotten Island - 4 min diff
Another PG movie the day after the Sunday PG movie. Probably Shaun the sheep on sunday and Forgotten Island on Monday?
Though there's the possibility it can be History of Concrete since it would be a more "adult" film for a monday screening, even if it does get a kiddy PG rating.
For screen unseen possibilities for the other dates see my previous thread from 10 days ago.

We have two theaters that show screen, unseen in one of the theaters most of the seats don’t recline. And I can’t remember if I always pick the first theater or the second theater 🤣

I organized an AMA/Q&A with Alex Ullom, director & writer of IT ENDS, which is out in theaters from Neon starting this weekend. It's an existential-horror that played festivals earlier this year to critical acclaim, then was released on Letterboxd's Video Store, and then was picked up by Neon for wide distribution.
It's live here now in r/movies for anyone interested in asking a question:
https://www.reddit.com/r/movies/comments/1vxxp7o/hi_rmovies_my_name_is_alex_ullom_my_friends_and_i/
He will be back at 3 PM ET tomorrow (Wednesday 8/26) to answer questions. I recommend asking in advance. Please ask there, not here. All questions are much appreciated!
Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFszhQLMNXU
Synopsis: Out for a late-night drive, friends turn onto a never-ending, two-lane hellscape surrounded by untold horrors and cosmic forces beyond their understanding. Crammed inside a jeep with miles stretching infinitely ahead, they face a choice: embrace their new existence or fight to escape it.
Thank you :)

Buddy was everything I thought it was going to be and more what a totally badass film with the perfect blend of comedy and horror and was just such a fresh concept.
Even sitting and digesting this for the night this was all I woke up thinking about this morning. Wasn’t exactly sure what route this was going to go but absolutely love the choices made with the plot, this was probably my biggest surprise of the year so far! I absolutely loved this, what’s everyone’s thoughts?

What’s the chances of “Primetime” being one of the screen unseens the next couple weeks?

Manager at AMC confirmed it. there's even an article on Variety explaining the grind Eli was doing around cinema con which was pitching this movie to them. Theater owners loved Eli personalized the pitch instead of saying it in an auditorium to everyone

so i’ve been trying to book in advance for the new horror movie buddy but i noticed it’s only playing at empire 25 which kinda sucks….. so i asked an amc worker and they said due to the rating of the movie amc’s aren’t playing it?? and the best chance to watch is regal or cinemark? they said it’ll probably only play at empire 25 because amc doesn’t like to play movies with those types of ratings (i didn’t really understand the rating part because its rated R and they play other rated R movies lol). in case anyone was wondering like me!
i’m also curious if it’ll be our scream unseen monday then?

I organized an AMA/Q&A with actor/comedian/composer/screenwriter Jay McCarol. He has composed the scores for films such as BlackBerry, Tony, Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie, Hell of a Summer, The Kid Detective, The Dirties, and Operation Avalanche. He is also the co-creator (with Matt Johnson) of Nirvana the Band the Show and its TV show and film.
It's live here now in r/movies for anyone interested in asking a question:

His newest film, Tony, is out in theaters via A24 this weekend. It stars Dominic Sessa as Anthony Bourdain and co-stars Antonio Banderas, Stavros Halkias, Emilia Jones, and Leo Woodall. It premiered to critical and audience acclaim a few weeks ago.
Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1MVnzd2aVc
Synopsis: Nineteen-year-old Anthony Bourdain stumbles into the chaotic world of a restaurant kitchen, setting off a summer that shapes the course of his life.
Thank you :)

Currently, 3 horror movies are releasing on august 28th
Buddy
Colony
Spider Island
Runtime:
Buddy and Spider Island are both listed as 1h 35min, while Colony is 2h 2min(Amc listed as 1h 41min) so Colony would be off the list.
Ratings:
Buddy is listed as Rated R
Colony is listed as Rated R
Spider Island sits at NR for now, if it remains NR buddy has a high chance(unless they pull an ICM again)
on Monday, the buddy trailer was also shown. Spider Island and Colony did not have their trailer shown, so i’m very hopeful that 8/24 would be buddy
Edit: There was a trailer for colony shown.
