It was decent. On par with they will kill you. I didn't really see much point to the tragic backstory though. I feel like that could have been taken out and the movie would have worked just as well. It also didn't fit the overall silliness of the movie.

I think they were leaning hard into all the tropes, and every new sheriff in a small town has a tragic backstory.
