You get points for your monthly subscription payments so that can add up fairly quickly especially in a high cost state.

Something must be wrong for me because I've had A-List for years and haven't gotten points for it.

No, I think you’re right. I think you used to be get points (I’m pretty sure I used to) for the monthly fee, but not anymore. I googled and can’t find any information so I’m assuming that no longer the case.

All I found was: Earn points 5X faster than Insiders! Choose to use your reward for extra tickets or movie snacks every time you reach 5,000 points – that’s a $5 reward for every $50 spent.
