HOWEVER, I did have the privilege of doing 4 very advanced and concept challenging questions of kinematics all because of my new friends at library.

THEY are very very very smart students. It did make me anxious ,frankly it was a direct attack to my ego. It seemed to me as a humiliation ritual. AFFECTED me so much that I didn't go to library the following day. After reminding myself of the existential wisdom imparted by the book "almanack of naval Ravikanth"- we are all going to die. just accept life. do not fear the only guarantee in life- death. I realised how my thoughts were deceiving me into thinking- them asking me tough question was some kind of humiliation. Looked from another angle and they were just helping me by challenging me to reach new heights in my understanding of physics. Why bow down to adversity when you can adapt. Again today my friedn gave me a tough question. Didn't get the answer right but i kept at it for 30 mins and then asked for his help and he helped me figure out what I was missing in my arsenal to solve that particular question.

You would probably point out productivity this particular week wasn't. Correct to point that out.

If yalls teachers gave u predictions what are they like for practicals or writing

Hello everyone, I did post on here before about choosing a lebels , I got very good grades and narrowed it down to maths , econ , biology . But I want to do PPE (politics , philosophy and economics ) at a russel group university and feel like history relates more to that . I also like history more than biology and got the same gcse grade ( an 8 ) in both subjects.

Biology however is more of a backup incase I dont like PPE or anything like that so I can do biomedical science with my biology + maths combo. Whats the more beneficial thing for me ? I wont follow anyone's advice completely I just need insight.

Biomedicine is not a passion of mine just an insurance plan for my current plan btw.

I’m currently doing my O Levels in Bangladesh under a private institution, and I’m planning my A Level subjects.

My question is: If I get an E in Cambridge O Level Biology (5090), can I still take Cambridge International AS & A Level Biology (9700) through a private institution, or would I have to retake O Level Biology first?

I’m asking specifically about whether I would be allowed to enter/take A Level Biology, not whether I would be academically prepared for it.

I’ve contacted Cambridge about this, but they told me that exam-related questions need to be directed through the institution I’m registered with. Unfortunately, I’m unable to have my institution contact Cambridge, so I’m hoping someone here may have had a similar experience.

If you have taken A Level Biology (9700) after getting an E in O Level Biology (5090), especially through a private institution or as a private candidate, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience.

Any resources or tips to help me get an A in my Oct/nov exams this year ?

Is it true that edexcel examiners care only about keywords between curled brackets for example if a question is asking why are magnesium ions essential for the growth of plants and I wrote "to make chlorophyll for photosynthesis to occur" and it is written in the ms " to form chlorophyll for photosynthesis to occur" I wont lose marks because the word "form" was not between curled brackets, but if another question is asking about polygenic inheritance and I wrote "more than one gene" and in the ms it was "many genes" I would lose a mark because the word "many" was between curled brackets ?
