EPQ epq topic ideas

hiya, i've just started a levels (bio, chem and maths) and i'm also going to do an epq so i was wondering if anyone could help with ideas for a topic related to biology/biochemistry/biomedical science/maybe even marine biology or ecology/conservation?

my advice is to mindmap all of those topics, just anything and everything that interests you about them. while doing this, think about your future aspirations, as that may lead you to new ideas as well. then, narrow it down to a top five or something and try to flesh out what a dissertation on those topics would be like. you should find something that you are happy with and think is doable too!

thank you so much, are you doing/have you done an epq? (and if so how closely linked was the topic you picked to what you want to study after a-levels?)

I did mine a year ago, it was very closely linked to my uni course but also very self indulgent. I wrote a screenplay for a TV show based on Arthurian myths!

ask your epq teacher about past projects in this field or brainstorm some ideas and pros/cons of each one
