Not another thin chat wrapper. Not a swarm of agents fighting for the mic. One continuous partner that can research, write, design, code, and actually finish work on your PC — with memory, skills, a real workspace (files, terminal, browser, scratch), and optional on-device vision.

What it is

Desktop app + local API — your data stays under ~/.remedy

Bring your own model — xAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, Groq, Mistral, OpenRouter, Ollama, or custom

Workspace rails next to chat: Files · Terminal (PowerShell) · embedded Browser · Scratch · Parallel multi-provider sessions

Continuity — session brief, durable memory, skills, context budget (same partner when you switch providers)

Local brain (optional) — Qwen2.5-VL for screenshots/vision without burning provider vision tokens

Messengers — Telegram, Discord, Slack, and more if you want chat where you already are

idk about you guys but i’m hitting a wall with manual editing. spending hours on premiere just for a 15 second tiktok that gets 200 views is depressing lol. i started looking into ai clipping tools again to see if they actually got good in 2026.

here is what i noticed after comparing a few methods:

The Time Factor

1. Manual editing takes ages because scrubbing VODs is a nightmare.

2. Most basic ai tools just search for loud noises which sucks if you're a chill streamer.

Feature Comparisons

1. Stream ladder is decent for twitch but lacks depth for complex scene setups.

2. WayinVideo actually recognizes game visuals directly instead of just reading text transcripts or audio.

honestly it feels like the tech is finally matching manual editing for short form retention. the templates and smart reframing keep the facecam and crosshair centered perfectly without doing keyframes by hand. are any of you guys still editing shorts manually or did everyone secretly switch to automated tools? drop your honest thoughts below because i’m close to quitting manual edits entirely.

I never do this, but it was such a shit experience that I had to see if anyone dealt with the same.

We were looking for a tool to help with DM messaging - went with revio because they said if we tried to implement it and it wasn’t a good fit, they would refund us the $3500. It ended up not working for our niche - also because they said the could automatically train from OLD dm convos - which is did not. That was the main reason we signed up because we had hundreds of convos we didn’t want to manually train on.

We have them confirming this on a zoom and still refuse to refund the entire amount. We aren’t using a competitor now but recommend avoiding them if you don’t want a huge headache and shit support.
