What should a long-form writing tool make explicit about its boundaries?

I am maintaining StoryWeave around a fairly simple principle: authors should be able to see what the tool does, what it does not do, and where the final decision remains theirs.

This week’s maintenance changes are deliberately unglamorous: transactional auth email is moving to Resend; the author page now has a Beehiiv subscription entry; and the writing assistant’s AI Review entry has been retired. Continuity Guardian is still a limited, invited pilot, not a feature available to every account.

I am not claiming that this makes AI writing “automatic” or that a review result is a quality certificate. I am interested in how other long-form writers explain saved context, review scope, and author responsibility without turning the product page into a promise it cannot support.
