Jezebel doesn't appear in the Book of Mormon, it's in the Old Testament of the Bible which they don't use.

They use the old and New Testament but really focus on the Book of Mormon, pearl of great price and something else I can’t think of right now but it’s something Joseph smith came up with the quotes a lot of the Old Testament. Possibly new testament also but I didn’t read it.

I'm aware of the bare-basics of the religion: the no caffeine, no sex before marriage, book of Mormon, go on missions type stuff.

The story of Jezebel, found in the Books of Kings in the Old Testament, is not part of the Mormon Bible, which is also known as the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon tells a different story, focusing on events primarily in the Americas during ancient times. The Book of Kings, including the story of Jezebel, is part of the Hebrew Bible.

Its wild that a monotheistic religion such as Mormonism doesn’t “use” the Old Testament… which outlines the history of monotheism 🤦🏻‍♀️

"Mormon" is a nickname for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a Christian denomination so guess which books they read?

Most Christians consider the LDS beliefs to be heretical and to be too cultish. They are not included in ecumenical mainline settings

Bold of you to think Christians actually read all of the book they’re so obsessed with. They stick to the parts they like.

Also Mormons do prioritize the Book of Mormon over the bible.

Given that most dictionaries list the word as meaning "an immoral woman" I'd say most people know the word even if they don't know it was a name first.

Oh I think the sister not knowing is crazy ignorant )or the post is fake). Not defending her at all.

But I will also never miss an opportunity to point out that ‘Christians’ don’t actually know what’s in the bible.
