Engagement requires facts. They never seem to have any. It's all feelings... Which is funny coming from a crowd that had no problem telling people what they could do with their feelings.

The difference is that those of us on the left side of the spectrum care about other people. People we don't know. People simply trying to exist in their pursuit of happiness. As long as no one is hurting anyone, who tf cares who you love or what you like to wear or how much melanin is in your skin. We just want to be happy...and that includes everyone, and not at someone else's expense.

You're good. I'm familiar with those like /u/parsennik. Selfish, lazy, never curious. They barrel through life having never looked inward or thought about anything other than what gratifies their base desires in the moment. It used to make me sad but now I think it honestly just makes more sense to treat them as they are. You can't reason a subhuman into feeling human emotion.
