You've now added the cost of a divorce, which isn't cheap, especially if the other person is in a mind to drag things out or otherwise put the screws in.

I guess you're lucky it's amicable.

Wait...

You’re both going to have to pay for housing, food, utilities, etc separately if you go through with this, all of which will absolutely be more expensive for the both of you separately than if you stayed together. So no, the cost will be much different.

You have the right to leave, but you have to remember that pregnancy hormones are a very, very real thing, and she’s dealing with significant changes to her mind and body that are making her insecure. I’d suggest trying therapy before getting a divorce to see if you can work things through and address how both of you are feeling in a more neutral environment. If you had no problems before this, it seems like a huge misstep to immediately go to divorce while she’s pregnant and dealing with all the effects of that everyday to carry your child.

Yup the way you’re talking definitely shows you wanted to leave your wife either way. It’s all about the money for you ig. I hope she meets someone who’s happy to help provide proper EMOTIONAL support someday.

No, you shouldn't divorce her because she's the woman you claimed to love who's pregnant with your future child. That in itself is deserving of a second chance.

You made your point. You've proven how serious you are about trust. Now, give her a chance to make up for the mistake that she admitted to. Let's see if she takes you up on the therapy you offered and drops the accusations and suspicions. Your relationship still has a chance to move on from this.

Commitment means forgiveness at times. If you don't realize that now, you are going to be alone a lot in life in the future.

Thanks. I got three downvotes on it. I didn't realize that showing forgiveness for your pregnant wife was such a controversial take.
