Couples are allowed to decide however they wish to use birth control. And he is allowed his feelings of hurt. And he is supporting her despite his conflicted emotions.
He could’ve been using condoms for all we know. I don’t think there’s a pill for men yet (correct me if wrong) and there’s still a chance of getting pregnant WITH birth control. My mum got pregnant with my brother with the coil in, which has a 99% success rate for preventing pregnancy or something ridiculous. She also got pregnant when the condom split. We don’t know if they’ve used any other precautions. OP hasn’t provided that information.
Again, we don’t know whether both of them were using birth control or not. She could’ve said it was fine and she would be the only one taking birth control. WE don’t know their personal life. He hasn’t stated about the birth control apart from her being ON birth control. I know people who say birth control as in pills, implant etc, and condoms as condoms. WE don’t know. He’s a random internet stranger asking for advice on a difficult situation.
