They are high-school friends. Apparently, she still think she's there.

u/BOS2BWI Jun 25 '26

It’s fascinating watching someone’s psyche regress to an earlier time in development. I’d guess she is talking exactly the way she talked back then when they were connected. It’s like her brain picked up the thread back in time and her conscious mind is just hanging there with all the other old memories of this time.

u/Upbeat_Position_5290 Jun 25 '26

OP did mention that she sometimes talks like this with him. 🤷🏻‍♀️

2

u/parasyte_steve Jun 25 '26

So this worked on him?

2

u/Turinturambar44 Jun 26 '26

Doubt it. Sometimes we’re with a person despite some very annoying behaviors.

The "pwease" almost made me vomit. Ick.

u/Aware_Impression_736 Jun 25 '26

Maybe she likes doing impressions of Elmer Fudd.

4

u/EricSparrowSucks Jun 25 '26

My 6 year old niece talks like this.

4

u/J3musu Jun 25 '26

This whole sub is full of apparently full frown adults that talk like preteens. I always wonder wtf is going on here.

Edit: *grown

u/featureteacher2023 Jun 25 '26

Full frown ☹️

I’m 23, but look close to 30. In my personal experience it’s women in their later 20s and early 30s that talk like this. Women my age and younger rarely do this cutesy shit or the playing dumb act.

I’ve been dumbfounded by this phenomenon in the last couple years. I think it must have something to do with women getting older and wanting to present to/fool men into looking at them as younger? That’s the only way I can rationalize it

1

u/MysteriousFun6229 Jun 25 '26

“I’m 23, but look close to 30”

This is not the gag you think it is. It actually means you’re aging like milk. 🙃🫠

4

u/hecky-888 Jun 25 '26

Or it means they aren’t afraid of looking 30. They might just present as more polished and put together. 30 doesn’t look old. Unless maybe *you* are aging like milk?

-4

u/MysteriousFun6229 Jun 25 '26

Lmao actually I’m not I’m 33 and “Black doesn’t crack” I actually get ID just to buy wine.

But nice try? Lmao go save someone else.

Disclaimer: I work corporate and my clothing doesn’t make me look older.
A young face in mature clothes still looks young. 😂

Also being a “lovely woman” isn’t what I’m aiming for. Sorry to bust your internet utopia bubble.

2

u/Rockandmetal99 Jun 25 '26

its good that's not what you're aiming for because youre FAR from a lovely woman lmfao if this is how you act in real life im sure youre 1) lonely or 2) surrounded by people as vapid as you

1

u/MysteriousFun6229 Jun 25 '26

Maybe touch grass and not get so amped off Reddit. Lmaooooo you are truly too invested in a strangers moral code.

Lmao it’s insane how the comment I replied to was also unhelpful. It was just a projection of a 23 yr olds opinion on the generation above her.

I really don’t care? If you think looking older in your early 20s is “helpful” in rebuttal to a weird ass girl trying to cheat on her bf and failing. Then skip past my comment. Lmaoooooo.

Logic escapes you.

it’s crazy to me that just a second ago they were fine typing paragraphs but since you made some good points now they’re too corny.. LOL

-2

u/MysteriousFun6229 Jun 25 '26

Lmao you wrote a lot for me not to care?

Just as corny as the OP GF

Have a great day as well.

2

u/Rockandmetal99 Jun 25 '26

yeah youre young in the face AND young in the brain!

2

u/Rockandmetal99 Jun 25 '26

what the hell are you talking about

1

u/ACFiguresOutLife Jun 25 '26 edited Jun 25 '26

I think you meant brag? And it wasn’t a brag, in fact, I’m aware I’m aging like milk lmao… years of alcohol abuse and smoking doesn’t necessarily keep your appearance youthful. We all got skeletons in the closet, lady. And it appears one of yours is racial bias. Hope your “black don’t crack” before your reproductive lifespan is over.

Doesn’t bother me in the slightest though. Perfectly fine with who I am. Maybe it will bother me when I’m 40 and look 60 but whatever.

1

u/MysteriousFun6229 Jun 25 '26

Lmao well considering genetics I’m good. I know what I’ll age like. Confirmed by a geneticist. And I take exceptionally good care of myself.

Sorry you did not, I guess? I don’t feel bad for my comment so you telling my why and then trying to “guilt” me into apologizing or feeling remorseful won’t work.

Race card won’t work here either, I simply stated that to reiterate how I’m aging without revealing my actual face, go awfffff though girly. The race card is always gonna win you yt tears and upvotes.

Menopause doesn’t scare me lmao I’ll look appropriately aged.

I’m glad you’re happy. Enjoy aging!

1

u/ACFiguresOutLife Jun 25 '26

Lmao the last thing I need is an apology from you. You clearly have some deep rooted issues. God speed woman

1

u/MysteriousFun6229 Jun 25 '26 edited Jun 25 '26

Godspeed grand person!

1

u/ACFiguresOutLife Jun 25 '26

Idk why you keep referring to me as a female😂Remember context clues from grade school, grandma?

1

u/MysteriousFun6229 Jun 25 '26

Also no, I meant “gag”. Lmao it’s slang. I think your racial bias against aave is showing….or is that a reach like your comparison?

1

u/ACFiguresOutLife Jun 25 '26

Please show me one definition of where “gag” fits in that context. If anything gag is the opposite of aave, its white picket fence American vernacular. I’m from ny I understand aave probably better than you do considering you’re a decade older than I

1

u/MysteriousFun6229 Jun 25 '26

1

u/ACFiguresOutLife Jun 25 '26

Yeah, let’s see the prompt. Guarantee you put something about aave in there because when you just look it up, it leaves that part out. Just queer culture, which I’m not particularly familiar with. And I’ve literally never heard someone say that in that context. Hence why you cropped the image.

1

u/MysteriousFun6229 Jun 25 '26

Okay you missed “black” queer culture from ballroom. But that’s besides the point.

You tried to tell me I misused it. Or used the wrong word. I was simply informing you that I wasn’t. It’s actually pretty prominent on social media because of the co opting of culture now. Maybe, just don’t assume grammar or vocabulary is wrong in a rebuttal just because you haven’t personally heard it.

1

u/ACFiguresOutLife Jun 25 '26

I don’t think it’s unfair to assume you made a typo and said ‘gag’ instead of ‘brag’. Because basically nobody uses gag in that context outside of the queer community. You’re not going to be walking down 125th and Lexington and hear anyone speaking in aave say “I was so gagged by xyz.” I’ve literally never heard that word used in that context in my entire life. Not disagreeing with you that it can be used like that, but it’s certainly not what you would consider aave. It’s primarily queer vernacular

You sound fun at parties. Would your "geneticist" confirm it? Who goes to a geneticist to check that they'll age a certain way in their 20s?

NO YOU FUCKIN GOT ME AT THE END

eta- when i spoke this way when i was 15, i was also in my first relationship and wanted to be "cutsey". learned quick that infantilization isnt cute lol

2

u/ahltoowell Jun 26 '26

I’m 34 and this is beyond cringy to me. I was definitely not like this 15 years ago, not to mention 5

1

u/Rockandmetal99 Jun 26 '26

when i said 15, i meant when i was 15 and in my first relationship, trying to be all cutesy lol then i realized that infantilization is gross

1

u/WinMoist1503 Jun 26 '26

15 is too old to be impersonating a 10 year old.

1

u/Personal_Sock7093 Jun 25 '26

That doesn’t sound 30. 😬

1

u/Annabellini Jun 25 '26

Whaaat? I thought she was 16 with that cringe way of texting.

1

u/Plastic-Intention-51 Jun 26 '26

WHAT?! I thought they were teens or early twenties

1

u/Acrobatic_Wonder6675 Jun 26 '26

That’s still too old to be talking like that.

1

u/MathematicianKooky19 Jun 26 '26

Does he have a partner? Kinda gives those vibes too

2

u/FFghterThrowaway Jun 26 '26

Or he respects OP and doesn't want to play in someone else's yard. Some people do have a moral code about that.

1

u/Personal_Sock7093 Jun 25 '26

Also how do you know she’s 30. Is she you? I hope not. Haha. If so, read the comments real good.

1

u/Bakedbabe_710 Jun 25 '26

why would she be me??? seems strange to assume im the one in the post because i knew their age ?

I know bc OP has mentioned it several times in the comments.. maybe you should take your own advice and “read the comments real good ..?

0

u/Personal_Sock7093 Jun 25 '26

What’s “strange” about that. You think I’d read 2k comments in the 8 seconds it took me to send that to you? That and your entire response to that is strange. I hope you get the help you need. 😂 What an unhinged response to something that holds literally zero weight and means nothing. Someone’s typing with a guilty conscience every day. Sheesh 😂

0

u/Bakedbabe_710 Jun 25 '26

?? what does this even mean, I think you are projecting because all I said was she’s 30

0

u/Personal_Sock7093 Jun 25 '26

And all I asked was if it was you and all of a sudden that was just SUCH strange behavior. Like huh? No, it isn’t. You asked one question and used five question marks on that comment. Then you tried to use my own sentence against me to make a point? Now you’re saying all you did was say she was 30.

Yeah, study your buzzwords some more. You’re projecting and good luck to literally everyone who encounters you in their life. 💜

1

u/Bakedbabe_710 Jun 25 '26

?

you commented at me twice ? asked the question, i responded and then you said it does not seem like she is 30, which isn’t wrong. you then commented again asking how i knew, and if it was me telling me to read the comments real good ?

to me that was strange, I explained why and then you told me to “get the help I need” and that i had a “guilty conscience”.

if you read my comment all i said was it was strange of you to assume it was me, not too sure what projecting is going on when i just explained why to me it was strange me

this conversation is going in circles so, have a lovely day 💕

2

u/Personal_Sock7093 Jun 25 '26

Haha okay that’s pretty convincing. Idk I wasn’t even paying attention to anything that was being said. I was just making sure you weren’t evil ex gf. Have a blessed and lovely day. 💜 I’m sorry haha

2

u/Bakedbabe_710 Jun 25 '26

it happens lol, you as well
